Mother's Day (1980/Charles Kaufman)
Some would say that this is the best calendar-based horror film. Equal parts comedy and horror. Meatballs meets Joan Crawford at Camp Crystal Lake.

Mother's day will be screened on:
Wed. Dec. 15th at approximately 11:52pm

Far Left: Mother is an exciteable old gal.
Top Right: Mother can take care of business on her own.
Bottom Right: Proud son, Ike.

Beyond The Darkness aka Buio Omega (1979/Joe D'Amato)
The late Joe D'Amato left behind quite an assortment of bizarre, exploitation, sleaze and horror films, but this movie may be his crowning achievment in disturbing brutality. Necrophelia, cannibalism, voodoo and pure carnage...a powerful cocktail but toss in the incredible and thoroughly intense Franca Stoppi and you may be getting more than you bargained for.
A true Italian sleaze classic.
Beyond the Darkness will be screened on Wed. Dec. 15th at approx. 7:10pm.
Left Top: The intese Franca Stoppi. Left Btm: Post Autopsy Hanky Panky. Top Right: Advanced Taxidermy. Btm Right: Franca Stoppi gets busy.

Make Them Die Slowly aka Cannibal Ferox (1981/Umberto Lenzi)
Shockingly brutal graphics and a nasty reputation for being banned in every civilized country, MTDS secured an awful reputation even before anyone had a chance to see it. And there's no letdown. Of all the 70s Italian gut-munchers, this is by far the one to recommend to family and friends. Brutal, ruthless, dirty and possibly even too graphic. The Mondo elements aside, this is the shit.

Make Them Die Slowy will be screened on Tues. Dec. 14th at approx. 3:10pm.
Left Top: One of the good guys? Left Btm: Exploitation regular, Lorraine DeSelle. Top Right: Giovanni Lombardo Radice (John Morghen) has good reason to scream. Btm Right: Natives cast their votes.
They Live (1988/John Carpenter)
Ex-WWF Star, Roddy Piper stars in this effective and creepy sci-fi horor film that features one of the longest, drawn out fight scenes ever put to film. It just has to be seen to be believed.

This is part of a Rowdy Roddy Piper double-feature which also includes "Hell Comes To Frogtown".
They Live will be screened on Tues. Dec. 14th at approx. 9:50pm.
Left Top: A good look. Left Btm: Andre the Giant has nothing to do with this. Top Right:A word from Mr. Piper. Btm Right: Exposed.
